KDR performs quality control surveys on all types of diagnostic x-ray equipment including: screen film radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, and Digital as well as Computed Radiography. KDR has aided many clients in gaining ACR accreditation for both CT and MRI.
Mammography
KDR is approved by the FDA to provide annual medical physics surveys on mammography units, meeting all MQSA requirements. KDR is up to date with continuing education credits required by the FDA in both conventional and digital mammography.
Radiation Safety Officer
Jim Kelley is the Radiation Safety Officer for five facilities in Las Vegas. 25 years of experience as a Physicist/Nuclear Medicine Technologist has resulted in an extensive knowledge in both NRC, and state regulations.
Shielding Design and Shielding Surveys
Shielding design and surveys have been provided for many clients in both Radiology and Cardiology facilities. Specializing in PET and CT shielding KDR is qualified to provide accurate shielding requirements for your facility. Surveys can also performed on existing shielding to verify regulatory compliance.
Radioactive Material Licensing
KDR has over 25 years of experience in generating radioactive material licenses and amendments for both NRC and State regulatory agencies.
Nuclear Medicine
Jim Kelley, having over 20 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, is uniquely qualified to perform all of your nuclear medicine quality assurance needs. KDR can provide quarterly audits; dose calibrator testing as well as annual ACR required Gamma Camera testing.
